Looks like there are plenty of bug fixes and even some new features in this version! Hooray! Looks like it’s time to update the Dreamhost Magento Installation Guide.
The new Magento version 1.1.6 has many bugs fixed, and the virtual product works better.

It’s been more than a year that magento is on the market. It has become quite popular since than and the number of users is comstantly growing.
Now it’s much easier to move to magento than it was before.
I tried using Magento for a while, but it was huge, bloated, and incompatible with most shared hosting. Do you know if this has finally been fixed?
I’ve recently opted to use OpenCart as my eCommerce solution of choice. It is amazingly simple to work with (employs an MVC approach) and does everything that I’ve needed a shopping cart to do.
